Return of Azerbaijani Citizens from Russia by Land Route to Continue - Leyla Abdullayeva
Baku / 23.11.20 / Turan: The return of Azerbaijani citizens from Russia through the territory of Dagestan will continue. The official representative of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Leyla Abdullayeva told Turan about this.
According to her, the last time crossing the border took place on November 20, when a group of 155 people arrived, including 35 children and 45 women. The group also included elderly and sick people.
Abdullayeva noted that the return of citizens from the Russian Federation along the land route will continue.
According to her, the transition is carried out according to the established lists, in the preparation of which priority is given to the elderly, sick and families with young children.
The persons included in the lists are notified in advance of the upcoming crossing and arrive at the border at the agreed time.
For those arriving at the border without prior registration, taking into account weather conditions, appropriate waiting conditions are created.
And in the future, in accordance with the number of groups established by the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, the return of citizens along the land route will continue.
It should be noted that from May to the end of October, Azerbaijani citizens returning from the Russian Federation through Dagestan waited for their turn to cross the border in a tent camp in the village of Kullar. With the onset of cold weather, the tent camp was liquidated, and its inhabitants were placed in a children's camp. –06D-
