RufatBakhshbeyli is released (UPDATED)
Baku / 17.06.18 / Turan: On the afternoon of June 17, RufatHajibayli was released. He said that he was kept in the duty department of the Yasamal district police department. Bakhshibeyli confirmed that the detention was due his publications. He pointed out that he was not subjected to physical pressure.

Activist of the Musavat party RufatBakhshibeyli detained
Baku / 17.06.18 / Turan: Member of Mejlis of opposition party "Musavat" and employee of Bastainfo.com website,RufatBakhshibeyli, was detained. He was taken away on June 16 from a rented apartment in the village of Khokmali near Baku. Later, the house was also searched, and his mobile phone was seized, Turan agency was informed by Mustafa Hajibayli, the editor-in-chief of Bastainfo.com., referring to his family members.
After detention, the page on the facebook activist named "RufatAlizamanoglu" was closed. This reinforces suspicions that he was taken away because of the publication in facebook and in general of opposition activities, Musavat party believes.
Where Bakhshibeyli is kept is not yet known.
Appeals to the police departments of the Masalli and Absheron districts where he is registered and actually live, as well as the Yasamal district whose employees introduced the searched were futile, Hajibayli said.According to him, the ombudsman's office promised to establish the place of the activist's detention.-06d-
