Baku/03.01.22/Turan: The Shusha Human Rights Initiative, created in 2022 as part of the Baku Human Rights Club (BCHR) project, will become a non-political platform for the continuous legal education of young people and the promotion of peacebuilding ideas, the message of the BCHR, received by Turan.

Within the framework of the project, an international conference “Missing Persons: Legal and Practical Problems” has already been held, at which an appeal was addressed to the international community in order to draw attention to this humanitarian problem. Twelve young participants of the program selected on a competitive basis in Shusha and Baku were provided with trainings on human rights and peacebuilding.

The BCHR will continue its activities in 2023 for the sustainability of the Shusha human rights initiative. The main goal is to involve young people not only from Azerbaijan, but also from foreign countries, to promote issues of human rights and peace, to make a feasible contribution to the establishment of peace in the region. The project was implemented with the financial assistance of the state support agency NGO.—06B-
