At the same time, a hurricane-force wind swept through Baku and Absheron. In Mushtag, "Oil Dashlary", the wind force reached 25 m/s, Gum Island 24 m/s, Alat, Baku, Pirallahi - 22 m/s, Residential Island - 20 m/s, Sumgait - 18 m/s. On the "Oil Dashlars" the height of waves reached 4.2 m.
