Snowfall expected in Baku on Friday
Baku/13.01.22/Turan: Azerbaijani Emergencies Ministry urged the population to be careful due to the expected deterioration of weather conditions in the country.
According to forecasters across the country, intense snowfalls and falling temperatures are expected.
Strong winds will blow in Baku and Absheron, so citizens are advised to stay away from light structures and billboards, and not to stand under the poles of power lines and tall trees.
Weather forecasters of the Ministry of Ecology report that the daytime temperature in Baku will be +1+3 degrees. However, a strong northwest wind will strengthen the feeling of cold.
In the regions of the country the daytime temperature will be 0+3 in the lowlands, at night it will be down to -3 degrees below zero. In the mountains it will be up to -9 frost at night and 0+4 during the day.-05D-

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony.
