Spouse of Tale Bagirzade is charged
Baku/09.27.19/Turan: Leyla Iasmailzade, the spouse of the leader of the Muslim Unity Movement, the Tale Bagirzade, was brought to justice.
On September 27, she was called to the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Justice, where she was charged under the Article 317-1.1 (Transfer or departure discreetly from checking prohibited items to persons held in custody).
Leyla Ismailzadeh told Turan, that on March 21 this year, she and her children came to a meeting with her husband in Gobustan prison. They passed things for inspection and went to her husband.
"When we were at the meeting, they brought our things. A smartphone was found in my son"s toy bag Abbas. The child watched cartoons on this phone and put it in his bag two days ago," Ismailzade said.
The prison service inflated this case, accusing me of breaking the law. In fact, it was used to pressure her husband, she said.
"Phones usually try to smuggle in stealth, and we ourselves handed things over for inspection. On the other hand, if the goal was to carry the phone, then we would not have taken a large smartphone with us, "Ismailzade said.
The Article 317-1.1 provides for a fine in the amount of 1,000-2,000 manat ($ 600-1,200), or correctional labor for a term of two years, or imprisonment for a term of two years. -03B06-
