The court of France cancels another agreement with Karabakh separatists
Baku/09.27.19/Turan: The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry welcomed the decision of the administrative court of the French city of Lyon signed on 19 September, 2017, which canceled the agreements signed on September 25, 2017 and October 21, 2018 by the French city of Decines-Charpieu and one of administrative units of the occupied Khojavand region of Azerbaijan; and between Saint-Etienne and the Azerbaijani city of Shusha occupied by the Armenians. This is stated in the message of the press service of the Foreign Ministry.
These agreements contradict Article 73 of the French Constitution, which governs the country's territorial units code and other French laws.
To this day, the courts of France have already canceled nine such agreements signed between the cities of France and the authorities of the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh. Azerbaijan hopes that French courts will annul other similar agreements, the message says.-02D-
