Baku / 09.07.18 / Turan: Summer session of the student entrance campaign started in Azerbaijan. On July 10 there will be exams in higher education institutions and colleges for the V group of specialties for graduates of previous years on the basis of 11-year secondary education, as well as exams in colleges based on 9-year secondary education.
According to the press service of the State Examination Center, the tests will be held in Baku, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Sheki, Barda, Goychay, Shirvan, Lankaran and Khachmaz. They will be attended by over 26,000 entrants, of which 18,116 people enroll in universities, and 4,437 enroll in colleges.
To manage and supervise the examination process, 2,073 teacher-inspectors are involved.
Recall that since last year in the country, admission examinations in higher and secondary special educational institutions are held in two stages - in spring and summer. The essence of the innovation is to give applicants the opportunity to score higher scores and increase the chances of successful participation in the competitive selection for admission to higher education.
Examinations for I and IV groups of specialties will be held on July 18, and for groups II and III - on July 26. -0-
