"Surprise" of Cabinet of Ministers for Women's Holiday
Baku/04.03.21/Turan: The Cabinet of Ministers presented a "surprise" for Women's Day by canceling the work of public transport on March 8.
This is provided for by an amendment to the decree "On additional measures in connection with a special quarantine regime."
Thus, the ban on public transport on Saturdays and Sundays has been postponed to March 8, which is a non-working day.
So, on March 6, 7 and 8, public transport across the country will not work for three days.
Note that the lack of public transport does not reduce the number of people in streets and public places. People use private vehicles and taxis. In addition, these days enterprising drivers provide the services of "fixed-route taxi", transporting passengers in cars from the outskirts to the city center for 1 manat. —06D-
