The arbitrariness in the Nakhchivan customs
Employee of the Julfa customs, Ramin, deliberately violates the rights of citizens because of their political orientation, Turan was stated by Zeynalabdin Bagirzade, a member of Nakhchivan branch of the Public Chamber.
According to him, last Saturday, he returned from Iran, where his wife was treated.
"When we entered the Customs, Ramin began to insult me and hit me with his fists, saying that I was the opposition, and all the opposition members are doctors. Then he took my bag with medicines of my wife and our passports, and kept us in customs for several hours," said Bagirzade.
After that, all things of Bagirzade were confiscated and he was not given any document on the seizure. Attempts to complain to the management of Customs were futile.
Attempts to get a comment in the Nakhchivan customs were also futile.
The brother of Bagirzade ,Yasar, has been convicted of fraud. In addition, they both were physically assaulted after complained of a violation of the rights of the inhabitants of their native village of Nehram. Since then, local authorities persecute the brothers. -05D-
