The first Azerbaijani woman on Everest
Baku/22.05.23 /Turan: On May 19, Ukrainian citizen Elmira Aslanova conquered the highest peak in the world – Everest (8848 m). Thus, she became the first Azerbaijani to conquer the "Roof of the World".
"A dream that I have been walking towards for a long time, which I have repeatedly rejected, considering it insane and unreal. But Everest did not let me go ... and on May 19, 2023, I managed to climb to the top of the world and thus I became the first Azerbaijani woman who managed to climb to the top of Everest, and I am very happy and proud of it," she wrote on her Facebook page.
It is known that Elmira Aslanova is the head of a travel company, but it is not reported which route the ascent was made and which team was part of. --02B--
