An unknown poacher opened fire on environmentalists
Baku/22.05.23/Turan: During a raid by employees of the State Environmental Safety Service on the Aghstafachai reservoir, synthetic nets for fishing were found. When environmentalists began to collect nets, fire was opened on them. According to the head of the State Environmental Safety Service Hikmet Aliyev, the fire was opened from the shore. The Gazakh police are searching for the attacker.
Eshgin Gasimov, the chief inspector of the Ganja regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, told local media that an initial investigation had been conducted and materials for further investigation had been sent to the prosecutor's office. ---16B06---
