The head of the department of the university organized the manufacture and sale of fake diplomas
Baku /28.10.19 / Turan: The Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General has revealed the fact of falsification and illegal production and sale by a group of persons of official documents and university diplomas.
During a search in the offices of the head of the Department of Physical Culture of Ganja State University, Mammadov Alyaddin, and laboratory assistant of this department Gasimov Elmir, were found and seized diplomas of various universities and colleges in the name of 37 people.
During a search in the office of the ex-director of Ismailly Olympic Sports Complex LLC, Humbatov Tofig, diplomas of various universities and colleges in the name of 62 people were seized, ID cards of citizens, their copies, bank cards and other documents.
During a search in Ganja, fake seals of the Ministry of Education and a number of branches of the Institute of Teachers of Azerbaijan were found and seized from a member of the criminal group, Imamguliyev.
Based on the evidence collected during the searches and other investigative actions, it was established that Mammadov, working as the head of the university’s department, together with the laboratory assistant Gasimov, Imamguliyev, Humbatov and other persons, created a criminal group, distributing between them the responsibilities for the production and sale of forged documents.
A lawsuit has been filed on the fact of several Articles of the Criminal Code. All of the above persons were arrested by a court decision. -16D-

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
