Today's meeting of the parliament discussed and adopted some bills. Among the documents can be noted the amendments to the Convention "On the physical protection of nuclear material", changes to the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan Republic, and the draft law "On approval of the list of potent substances, minimizing their large size, as well as toxic substances."
The list of potent substances includes 81, the list of substances with snake poison includes 22 names. The note says that all drug forms (solutions and mixtures) are included in the list marked substances, regardless of the production company, are potent substances.
In addition, wholesale of beer sales (cost from 50 to 1000 manat) in cash is prohibited. In the case of the final adoption of the law for a cash sale or purchase for resale a large batch of products, subject to excise marks will be applied a penalty from 1000 to 2000 manat, or correctional work, and maybe even imprisonment for up to one year. In the last two days, a "news" story appeared on TikTok about a whale spotted on Baku's seaside boulevard. The most "observant" users posted videos, commenting on the size of the animal. Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
