The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on the prevention of a forest fire in Khachmaz
Baku/05.08.23/Turan: The units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations managed to cope with the fire and prevent a forest fire in Khachmaz.
The fire broke out in an open area in the village of Sibiroba, Khachmaz region, near a forest area, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan reports.
However, the forces of the State Fire Protection and Rescue Service of Special Risk managed to prevent the spread of flames into the forest.
As a result of the fire, 500 sq. m. of the area with household waste, 3 hectares of shrubs and 7 hectares of reeds were burned.—06B-

On July 17, a safe with 130 thousand dollars and 700 grams of gold was stolen in one of the private houses in the village of Sarai in the Absheron district. During the operational activities, two Chinese citizens were detained while trying to leave Azerbaijan. 17,306 dollars, 9586 dirhams of the UAE and 147 grams of gold products were seized from them.
