Baku/22.08.10/Turan: 184 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Azerbaijan. 160 people were treated, cured and released.
According to the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, three people who tested positive for COVID-19 died.
So far, a total of 35,105 people have been infected with coronavirus in Azerbaijan.
Of them, 32842 people were treated and cured, 515 people died, the number of active patients is 1748 people.
During the last day, 6557 tests were conducted to identify new cases, and a total of 868345 tests were conducted during the past period.

Muslim Unity Movement (MU) activist Akhsan Nuruzade has been detained in Azerbaijan 20 days after being released from prison. Nuruzade was detained in the late afternoon of October 26 when he was meeting his daughter who was returning from classes at Khazar University in Baku, the MU reported.

On the evening of October 25, a fire broke out at the large "Astoria" hotel complex located in the Nizami district of the capital. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, several firefighting teams were deployed to extinguish the fire. After several hours, the fire was localized and extinguished.
