The rivals of "Garabagh" in the group stage of the Conference League have been determined
Baku/27.08.21/Turan: Following the draw, held in Istanbul on Friday, the rivals of Aghdam “Karabakh” in the group stage of the Conference League (CL) became known.
The rivals of the only representative of Azerbaijan in the group stage were Basel (Switzerland), Kairat (Kazakhstan) and Omonia (Cyprus).
The group winners will advance directly to the 1/8 finals, while the runners-up will play play-offs against the third-placed teams in the Europa League groups. The CL group stage matches will begin on September 16.
On the way to the group stage, "Karabakh" defeated Israeli "Ashdot", Cypriot "AEL" and Scottish "Aberdeen".
Azerbaijan started the Euroseason with four clubs. In addition to Karabakh, the country was represented by Neftchi, Sumgayit and Keshlya in European competitions. –71D-
