The search of four oil industry workers continues (UPDATED)
The search of four oil industry workers, presumably fallen into the sea during today's accident on the platform near the Sangachal continue, states the message of the state oil company. During the collapse of the platform 41 works were on the platform. As a result of operative measures of rescue teams, 37 people were evacuated to shore. The injured were provided necessary medical care.

On the site N 441 NGDU Narimanov of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) the accident occurred. According to SOCAR, the trailer fell into the sea. In addition, a fire started as a result of breaking on the 700-mm pipeline. At 12:20 the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received information about the fire on the pier at the NGDU Narimanov, according to the MES.
A fireboat "Whirl-5" and rescue helicopters was sent to the scene hastily. Twelve people which had fallen into the sea were rescued. The fire has been extinguished. The emergency well is in the sea 2 km. southeast into the sea from Sangachal. -06D--
