The search of four oil industry workers, presumably fallen into the sea during today's accident on the platform near the Sangachal continue, states the message of the state oil company. At 12:20 the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received information about the fire on the pier at the NGDU Narimanov, according to the MES.
A fireboat "Whirl-5" and rescue helicopters was sent to the scene hastily. Twelve people which had fallen into the sea were rescued. The fire has been extinguished. The emergency well is in the sea 2 km. southeast into the sea from Sangachal. -06D--
