The speed of cars has been reduced on two streets of Baku

On August 18th, cloudy weather without  precipitation is expected in  Baku. The northwest wind will change to the southwest in the afternoon. The air temperature will be +19 to +24°C at night and +28 to +33°C during the day. Humidity will range from 60-65% at night to 40-45% during the day.

Recently, some bloggers and activists have been circulating lists on social media claiming to reveal who will be elected as MPs or the composition of the new parliament in Azerbaijan. According to them, as with previous elections, the principle of "appointment" will once again dominate in the early parliamentary elections scheduled for September 1. However, they do not disclose their sources.

Cloudy weather without  precipitation is expected in  Baku and the Absheron Peninsula  on August 17; and  the southwest wind. The daytime temperature will range from +28 to +32 degrees Celsius. Humidity will be 60-70% at night and 40-50% during the day. Heavy rain with thunderstorms  is expected in some  regions of the country. The wind will be from the east. In lowland areas, temperatures will range from +30 to +35 degrees Celsius, while in the mountains, temperatures will be between +15 and +19 degrees Celsius.

As of July 2024, the population of Azerbaijan reached 10,200,013 people, an increase of 19,243 from the beginning of the year, according to official data. This 0.2 percent growth reflects a stable yet modest rise, with the population density now standing at 118 people per square kilometer.
