The trial in the case of the medical center of Elshad Abdullayev
The Baku Serious Crimes Court sentenced Dilara Ismayilova, a chief physician of the Medical Center under the former International University, to two years on parole. She was found guilty of an illegal organization of organ transplants. First, General Prosecutor Office filed a lawsuit on the abuse of power.
According to investigators, Dilara Ismayilova entered into an agreement with the citizens of Israel, Boris Volfman Boris and Yuri Katz, and without a license and violating the law of Azerbaijan on the transplantation of human organs and tissues, organized operations.
In March and December 2009, transplantation of organs of 11 Israelis, one citizen of France, one U.S. citizen , their donors were citizens of different countries. In total, there were done 13 surgeries, for which Dilara Ismayilova received $130,000 dollars.
Later investigation filed a lawsuit under the Article 137.3 (purchase and sale of human organs) and 308.2 (abuse of power.)
For similar articles is accused the former rector of the Azerbaijan International University Elshad Abdullayev, who is in political emigration. Nasimi district court sanctioned his arrest, in this regard, Elshad Abdullayev, is in the international wanted list. -04D-
