Jamil Hasanli sues the CEC and ITV
The presidential candidate of the National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF) sued the ITV (public television) and the CEC. The cause of suit is the refusal of ITV to provide Hasanli paid air time for campaigning. The trial in this case will be held on October 2 in the Baku Court of Appeal, according to the press service of the electoral headquarters Hasanli.
Hasanli applied for granting him paid air time on September 23. However, the CEC refused him in connection with the expiration of the acceptance of applications for the granting paid airtime, referring to Article 80.4 of the Electoral Code.
Hasanli considers unreasonable reference to the Article of the Election Commission.-03D-
