On January 9 the Sheki Court at the trial on Ismayilli events gave testimony the prosecution witnesses. It is noteworthy that at the trial before break, the police officer, Rauf Karimov, said that he knew none of the accused, although at the preliminary investigation he called specific names.
After the break, the prosecutor asked the witness why he gave different testimonies. After that Kerimov repeated what he said at the preliminary investigation , alleging that the defendants set fire to a hotel and car, and threw stones at police.
The accused regarded it as pressure of the prosecutor on the witness, and refused to participate in the trial. Sakhavat Samedov , whom the witness mentioned most of all, said that in protest he would commit a suicide. The trial continued after the defendants calmed.
A victim-witness Rashad Ahmadov confirmed his testimony at preliminary investigation. However, he argued that the head of the REAL Movement, Ilgar Mamedov, and deputy chairman of the "Musavat", Tofig Yagublu, incited people to riot, calling them to overthrow the government. While saying it Akhmedov was so shaking that they brought him water to calm.
Mamedov and Yagublu protested false witnesses.
The prosecutor began to protect the witness, and explained his shaking by excitement.
The next court hearing will be held on January 13.—06D--

The court ordered the property be returned to its rightful owner, Samaya Aliyeva. However, the Ministry of Justice intervened, citing a presidential decree from July 1, 2004, which approved a state program for improving the living and working conditions of refugees.
