The workers" demands at Bos Shelf partially satisfied
Social demands of the workers of the plant for the production of offshore oil platforms Bos Shelf, made by March 18, have been partly satisfied.
Recall that about one thousand employees went on strike to demand higher wages, provide health insurance, increased holidays.
The representatives of the strikers were accepted by management of the company, which has promised to consider their demands. In the case of failure to meet requirements set out to workers from 1 April to resume the strike.
As reported by the head of the Committee to Protect Oilmen Mirvari Gahramanli rights, workers' demands partially implemented. According to her, the factory went into dialogue with the staff and the Committee to Protect Oil Workers Rights.
The plant elected the new leader of the Committee of Trade Unions - Allahyar Eyyubov, a person who is trusted.
In addition, satisfied was the requirement of providing employees with health insurance. 50% will be covered the cost of medical care of their families.
Also solved was the issue of increasing vacation days in accordance with length of service and the risk of a particular employee works. Improved was the quality of the free food workers. However, the issue of wage increase shows little progress.
So, if before the payment of wages was transferred into dollars at the rate of 0.78 manat manat to $ 1, now the course is rounded to 0.80 manat per $ 1.
In addition, wages are equalized in working with former employees who have passed here at the confluence with the plant Bos Shelf Deep Water. This category of salary increase was 10%.
At the same time, the factory has promised not to fire anyone and raise wages in case of increase in project work.
The new head of the Committee of Trade Unions Allahyar Eyyubov told Turan they announced the start of a constructive dialogue between the workforce and management.
