TSDZA: Aylisli wrong, but the grass is not
Center West deportation of Azerbaijanis (TSDZA) issued a statement condemning the novel writer Akram Aylisli "Stone dreams." simultaneously, the Centre against the campaign in opposition to Aylisli blamed pro-government propaganda that aims to divert attention from the issue of corruption in high places.
The statement noted that the Karabakh conflict in the novel is highlighted in a biased way as well as the events in Sumgait. Furthermore, there is concealment of the killings and deportations during the last century, of more than one million Azerbaijanis from their historical homes.
Authors of the statement angered disparaging attitude towards "eraz" statement about the “historic Armenian homeland” in Nakhchivan.
At the same time, the Western Center deportation of Azerbaijanis condemns the campaign against Aylisli, Azerbaijani authorities, as well as government efforts to expose themselves as champions of the rights of "eraz." The Centre recalled that the repeated appeals to the authorities on the problems of Western Azerbaijanis were in vain, as they did not bother to respond.
In this case, the statement’s author reminds us that the present government elected Aylisli to parliament and rewarded him with orders and medals.
In addition, harassment of Aylisli gives reason to use it against the Armenians of Azerbaijan, to show the world what they do in Azerbaijan with an intellectual.
"With the increased attacks on Aylisli, we are coming nearer to his Nobel Prize," - said in a statement.
Deportation center believes that the Aylisli novel should be discussed with his participation in the Union of Writers and should be given a weighted score to the product. Before the promulgation of the Writers' Union views, criticism of the novel is to be suspended. -06D-
