Two soldiers attempt suicide attempt
In one of the military units of Ganja two soldiers recruits, Ravan Alizadeh and Nijat Najafov attempted suicide. They have done a variety of different injuries, cutting hands.
Both received medical treatment, the press service of the Defense Ministry.
On January 13, they were taken to the General Hospital of the Ministry of Defense in Baku and placed in a psychiatric ward . Their health is described as satisfactory.
After obtaining the opinion of the Chief Psychiatrist of the country, the possibility of continuation of their military service will be decided. No lawsuit has been filed yet. However Military prosecutors are investigating.
Alizadeh and Najafov were conscripted from Lankaran and Baku less than two weeks ago.
Such attempts of suicide make the recruits that are not ready for military service from the moral-psychological and physical point of view , the press service of the Defense Ministry.
Defense Ministry called on parents, teachers of educational institutions, the public to educate children in an atmosphere of love and loyalty to the homeland, the country people, the state , to instill them a sense of selflessness and heroism, and be prepared for the service in the army. -03D-
