Human rights activist denies the charges against his brothers

Vafadar Mamedov detained on  January 9   by the employees of the National Security Ministry (NSM)  is charged with illegal possession of ammunition and TNT blocks. He, like previously arrested two believers, his brother and brother, Vafanur Mamedov  and  Nizami Najafov, is charged under Article 228.2.1 ( illegal possession of weapons and ammunition group of persons) of the Criminal Code.

All three are  kept  in jail MNS in Baku,  Turan was told by defender Avtandil Mammadov, the cousin of the detainees.

According to human rights, Mammadovs are protected  by state-appointed lawyers. And the lawyer Vafadar unreasonably delays an appeal on the decision of the Sabail court for the arrest detained for three months.

"Vafadar Mammadov arrived from Baku to Guba January 8 and stayed the night with me. He was detained in the morning when he left his home and went to court for the trial of his father.

No ammunition and TNT blocks he had . However, his brother , too, had no grenades , according to the investigation.

All that did Vafanur is that he wrote a commentary on the social network "Schoolmates " about other detainee, Najafova Nizami, who is his brother-in-law," reminded Avtandil Mammadov .

The human rights activist also said that the jail of the NSM  did not take food parcels and clothing for the arrested brothers, citing the absence of a power of attorney from them. -06B
