Up to 10 kg seized of drugs and three thousand psychotropic pills confiscated at the Iranian border
Baku/12.05.22/Turan: On May 6, at 17:50, near the village of Perimbel, Yardimli region, border guards recorded a violation of the border by Iran. During the inspection of the area, a bag was found in which there were about 2 kg of marijuana.
On May 9, at 02:30 am, a violation of the border by Iran was also recorded near the village of Aranly in the Imishli region. During operational activities on the Bilasuvar-Baku highway, a Ravon-Nexia car with two passengers was detained.
When examining the car, a bundle with 7.8 kg of marijuana and almost 3,000 tablets of the psychotropic drug methadone was found.
Baku resident Rafik Valiyev and Absheron resident Suleiman Aliyoldashov, who were in the car, were detained. The fact is being investigated. -02D-
