Veterans complain about non-payment of insurance
Baku/18.04.22/Turan: On April 18, a group of veterans of the Karabakh war held a protest in front of the building of the Azersygorta State Insurance Company.
They complained about the non-payment of insurance payments to them, in accordance with the law on compulsory medical insurance of military personnel, despite the award of disability.
“Every time we are deceived. At first they said, come on April 14, then on the 15th. The last time they promised to pay the money on April 18. But, today they are sent to the State Social Protection Fund, and they are “transferred” to “Azersigorta”.
We need treatment, but they don't give money. There is an order from the President and we must receive this money,” one of the protesters said. No one came out to the protesters. Their representatives themselves entered the “Azersygort”. There they were told that the person responsible for this issue was not at the workplace.
After that, a dispute arose between veterans and employees of the company. After that, a representative of the protesters was invited to the leadership of Azersygort. How the negotiations ended is unknown.
It should be noted that war veterans periodically hold actions, complaining about government officials ignoring their problems and violating their rights.-06B-

Baku, often called the "Caucasian Dubai," is increasingly known for systematic violations of residents' housing rights. During urban renovations and the construction of elegant new buildings, thousands of families in Azerbaijan’s capital have been unlawfully deprived of their homes. Many, recognizing the futility of resistance, settle for inadequate monetary compensation for their irreplaceable property. A minority, placing faith in the Housing Code, demand fair compensation from construction companies but often lose everything—both their homes and any form of recompense.
