Who will Haji Abdul support in the presidential election?

         He announced the intention to create an organization "National unity for the country," the organizing committee of which is already formed. Chairman of the Organizing Committee is Haji Abdul himself.
 
         As the reason for creating a new structure, Haji Abdul explained the tense pre-election situation in the country. This situation is somewhat reminiscent of the situation in the early 90-ies of the last century. "The situation is dangerous. The struggle for power could cost the loss of territories," said Haji Abdul.
 
        He criticized the activities of the authorities and the opposition. Government for 20 years could not release the occupied territories, bureaucratic arbitrariness reigns in the country, social well-being of the people is low. The opposition was also accused by Haji Abdul that "it at all costs wants to come to power."
 
   In the view of Haji Abdul, the authorities are in a state of war with the opposition. This opposition can be costly for the country, he said. According to him, the new structure involves the support of a presidential candidate who can guarantee unequivocally that "he will release the occupied territories, improve the welfare of the people and create friendly relations with neighboring countries." Support of the opposition can be received by a candidate who is not tainted by his past, said Haji Abdul.
 
He appealed to the people in the opposition and in government, who are "true patriots and loyal to the nation," to come together in the newly created structure.
 
     Haji Abdul spoke against the announced government allegations that the candidacy of Ilham Aliyev for a third presidential term is agreed with the leading states. In his opinion, "this statement is an indication of a lack of their support among the people." "That's why they are looking for support abroad," said Haji Abdul.
 
   Haji Abdul also referred to the presidential elections with the newly created structure. It can support any candidate that meets its requirements. But if there is not such a candidate, it can go to the polls with its own candidate.
 
          Haji Abdul was an active participant in the national movement in the late 80s. However, since the early 1990s Haji Abdul founded the society Tovbe (Repentance), and began to act as an active supporter of the last communist leader and first president of Azerbaijan Ayaz Mutallibov.
 
    During the reign of the Popular Front in 1992-93 Haji Abdul was arrested, but after a change of government, he was released from prison.
   Since 2000, he is the leader of the religious community of the Mosque Imam Hussein. -05C04-
