Wind storm tore off roofs and knocked posts
Late last night over part of the country there was a hurricane wind. According to the MOE, the wind speed in Ganja and Shamkir region reached 40 meters per second. As a result, there was severe damage to infrastructure and various economic objects.
According to the deputy head of the executive power of Ganja Nagif Hamzaev, he gave the radio Azadlig, the hurricane blew the roof of two buildings on the street U. Hajibekov. Half of the city remained without electricity.
Strong winds also caused damage in Sheki and Gakh, toppling trees and power poles and disrupting telephone lines. The gas supply stopped. In Zagatala the lightning struck a one-story house.
