On the morning of December 14 a worker in Construction Department No 4 belonging to the Office of Oil Rocks of SOCAR died after falling into the sea.
As the press service of SOCAR said, the incident occurred at the time of construction work on an oil platform. According to the same source, Simran Maharramov became ill while working and he fell into the sea and was drowned.
At the conclusion of the medical examination, Maharramov died of heart failure.
Note that this is not the first accident at sea this year. A month ago, four men died after the collapse of oil platforms in the area of Sangachal. -16D-
