Youth activist claims that the police arrested his family
Youth activist in exile, Rasul Mursalov, argues that today all the members of his family were arrested and taken to the police of Zagatala. He wrote about it on his page on Facebook.
The reason for this was the creation on May 22 in the social network a page with the slogan "Say NO burning Olympics", and called on the citizens of Azerbaijan on May 31 to hold a protest rally against the European games.
After his family members were taken to the police, Mursalov was ordered to delete the created page. Once he did, they demanded from him to close his page on Facebook.
Despite that he fulfilled all the demands of police, the family members, including a 5-year-old child, were not released, according to the activist.
Commenting on this statement, the press service of the Interior Ministry told that all these statements are false and untrue. -02/06В-

For Elshan Hasanov, a 46-year-old man with severe hearing impairment (fourth-degree), what should have been a straightforward process to receive government-provided hearing aids has turned into a bureaucratic nightmare involving three healthcare agencies. As a result, Hasanov is forced to pay nearly 60 manats ($35) several times a year for what used to be a free service—a cost he says is untenable on his modest disability pension.
