Ali Aliyev called on Interior Minister to punish police that humiliated Leyla Yunus
The Chairman of the Citizen and Development Party (CDP ) Ali Aliyev appealed to Interior Minister Ramil Usubov to punish the police who committed tyranny against the Director of the Institute for Peace and Democracy Leyla Yunus , when she was almost a day under the supervision of law enforcement.
Ali Aliyev stressed that although he did not share Yunus's activities through " people's diplomacy" , he appreciates her human rights activities.
Aliyev pays attention of the Interior Minister that the police without any official charges for hours restricted the rights and freedoms of L.Yunus.
During her detention , in violation of the law , she was not provided with female police staff and admitted these facts as immorality.
Thus , a police officer supervised Yunus even when she was in the toilet.
According to Aliyev , the police officer spotted the police honor and the concept of " courage ." "Perhaps , for them these qualities do not matter in their career ."
In any frame does not fit also the behavior of a police officer who called L.Yunus " an Armenian ."
"People with such a primitive way of thinking not only can not be entrusted management of personnel, but I doubt their ability to enforce the law ."
If a police officer watching the toilet with L.Yunus explains its with national identity , then how can we talk about ensuring the rights of 30,000 Armenians living in Azerbaijan, according to official data?
Aliyev called on the Minister to punish the police officers who have committed such immoral acts . -06D-

In a bit of historic irony, powerful oligarch Bidzina Ivanishvili has managed to inspire rare unity across Georgia’s cacophonous political scene twice in his life. His money and influence forged the broad-based consolidation of opposition forces that brought him to power in 2012, and now, 12 years and three electoral cycles later, a similar pattern of opposition convergence could send him packing.
