American Filmmaker to Hold Seminars and Trainings in Baku
The US Embassy in Azerbaijan is sponsoring the visit of the American filmmaker, writer and producer of documentary films Lisa Lyman to Baku on February 6-13.
Lyman will hold a week-long training course at the University of Culture and Art for students of the Filmmaking Faculty, and will hold a seminar at the Academy of Fine Arts. She will also hold meetings with Azerbaijani filmmakers. -016D-

The group exhibition "Everything Will Be Alright: Tomorrow or Someday" at YAY Gallery features works by Rasim Babayev, Elshan Baba, Orkhan Huseynov, Terlan Gorchu, Aida Mahmudova, Qafar Rzayev, Zamir Suleymanov, and CHINGIZ. Some periods in cultural history have not been deeply studied, and finding precise, detailed information in the Azerbaijani language is nearly impossible. One such period is the Qajar era, which lasted from 1794 to 1985.
