Baku / 05/01/19 / Turan: The opening ceremony of the first American Film Festival was held in Park Cinema Flame Towers in Baku on May 1.
The festival is sponsored by the US Embassy in Azerbaijan and will last five days.
United States Charge d'Affaires ad interim in Azerbaijan, William Gil, in his opening speech expressed satisfaction with this significant cultural event.
He noted that the festival will last until May 5, showing diverse films to viewers every evening.
"The festival will feature films that highlight the strength of the Americans and their efforts to achieve success," Gil said.
The American diplomat told Park Cinema that the films will be shown every evening at 19 o'clock and everyone can buy the tickets online or at the box office at very reasonable prices.
Note that on May 1-5, 5 films will be shown at Park Cinema Flame Towers, which will demonstrate the "Strength of the human spirit" .
