British Council implements Theatre Cooperation project
The British Council Office in Baku announced the implementation of the project: Theatre Cooperation in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan.
The project includes the expansion of cooperation with several public and private theaters of Azerbaijan: the Young Spectator Theatre, the State Academic Drama Theatre, the Yug Theatre, the Mime Theatre, and the Baku Russian Drama Theatre.
The aim of the project is to improve the professionalism of a group of young actors and staff on international standards.
Through training and exchange of experiences an advanced group of theatre workers will be formed, which will influence the trends and styles that promote the integration of the local theatre in the international theatrical world.
The first training will be held in the framework of the project on February 4-6 at the Theatre of Young Spectator, where the light designer Michael Magnon will hold classes for Azerbaijani counterparts.
The second training for the actors will be held by the Director Yan Vilyem Van Den Boh in the same theatre on 11-15 February. -16D06-
