Builders promise to return to the place the monument to Mikail Mushvig
On Monday, the country's public was concerned by reports on the demolition of the monument to the famous poet Mikail Mushfig in the Yasamal district of the capital. Photographs in social networks, showed quite careless attitude of "Azeravtoyol" workers who are reconstructing of the road near the monument. In this regard, the representative of "Azeravtoyol" said the monument removed temporarily due to the reconstruction and expansion of the road and for completion of the work, the monument will be returned to the place. Mikail Mushvig is one of the most talented poets of Azerbaijan pre-war years, was arrested in 1937. Author of the monument erected in 1970 was the only female sculptor of Azerbaijan Minavver Rzayev. -03D-

Ahmet Güneştekin answered questions from Turan Information Agency a few days after the opening of his solo exhibition, Lost Alphabet, held in the 8,000-square-meter indoor halls of the Feshane Cultural Center, managed by the Istanbul Municipality. The exhibition, inaugurated by Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, will remain open until July 20.
