Creation of a Web resource of the Scientific Center of Azerbaijan and Caucasian studies named after Nizami Ganjavi in Oxford

Presentation of the web resource of the Scientific Center of Azerbaijan and Caucasian studies named after Nizami Ganjavi at the Oxford University UK took place on Tuesday in the Baku branch of the Moscow State Lomonosov University. Memorandum on the establishment of the Scientific Center of Azerbaijan and Caucasian studies named after Nizami Ganjavi at Oxford University was signed October 28, 2013.

The Center is multifaceted and includes research, academic exchange, scientific and practical conferences, scholarship programs, the implementation of cultural projects. One of the functions of the Centre is to collect scientific information, resource and library fund related to Azerbaijan.

Specific role  is the popularization of science and public figures of Azerbaijan through the translation and publication of their work in English, French and German. It develops educational and knowledge-based activities on the content of the program center for the 2015-2020 years. Within five years it is planned to prepare three graduate students, undergraduates and three translated into foreign languages, a number of scientific-theoretical works of Azerbaijani scientists.

Pashayeva said that  a five-year plan includes the archaeological site of the ancient city of Barda, the creation of a new archaeological map of Azerbaijan, held in June in Oxford conference in Caucasian.

"I call upon the scientific community to support the project to popularize Azerbaijan's national scientific thought, as well as the use of the Center of Nizami to contribute to the world of science,"  she added, referring to the well-known representatives  of science. -0-
