On September 27, 2016 in the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum was held the opening ceremony of the carpet “Turkuninanji, tarikhingazanji” (Belief of the Turkic, gain of the history”). It should be noted that 1st International Symposium titled “Common language of the Turkic world – ornaments” was opened in the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum, supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum and organized by Baku YunusEmre Institute. The carpet which is the symbol of the symposium, was woven by the weavers of the museum based on the sketch of carpet-artist of the museum - TaryelBashirov. At the ceremony spoke director of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum ShirinMalikova, as well as director of Baku YunusEmre Institute Ibrahim Yildirim, carpet-artist of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum TaryelBashirov, deputy of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey HalukIpek and General Secretary of TurkPaJadosAsanov. Ceremony ended with the removal of carpet from loom. -02D-

Ahmet Güneştekin answered questions from Turan Information Agency a few days after the opening of his solo exhibition, Lost Alphabet, held in the 8,000-square-meter indoor halls of the Feshane Cultural Center, managed by the Istanbul Municipality. The exhibition, inaugurated by Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, will remain open until July 20.
