Selection of  candiadtes for the German IPS program

The delegation of the German Parliament will visit Baku on October 4-5 in order to select the candidates from Azerbaijan for the program of the International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) of the Bundestag. According to the  Embassy of Germany, the delegation is headed by Bundestag deputy Alexander Ulrich. As part of the  IPS program, 120 fellows from 41 countries will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the German parliamentary system for three months - from 1 March to 31 July 2017.

The trip is funded by the Bundestag, the fellows will provide an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the work of the German Parliament: they will work with the deputies, will witness the judgment. At the same time, the fellows will be registered in one of the University of Berlin, and will be able to attend lectures and seminars. This program is being implemented under the patronage of the head of the Bundestag. All travel expenses - accommodation, insurance and a monthly stipend is paid by the Bundestag.
