Armenia is committed to the strategic agreement reached in Prague on October 6, 2022, that Armenia and Azerbaijan will recognize each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty based on the Almaty Declaration. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, in an article published by official Armenian media.

Armenia does not aim to regain more than 200 square kilometers of its territory, which is currently "under the occupation of Azerbaijan," through military means. There is a real and objective possibility to resolve this in practical terms through the process of delimitation. "Therefore, the claims about Armenia's intention to attack Azerbaijan are simply fabricated," Pashinyan writes.

Armenia is reforming its army within the framework of the above-mentioned principle, that is, to defend its internationally recognized territory, and this is the right of any country.

The security threat to Armenia comes from Azerbaijan, where high-level statements are made that question Armenia's territorial integrity. These statements are most fully formulated in the thesis of "Western Azerbaijan," according to the Armenian Prime Minister.

The solutions to this situation are already on the table, with the articles of the peace treaty agreed upon. Armenia has proposed solutions to the two unresolved articles and is awaiting a positive response from Azerbaijan.

Armenia has submitted a written proposal to Azerbaijan regarding the implementation of railway transportation from Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan and international communication through Armenian territory and back, and is awaiting a positive response from Azerbaijan.

Recently, a meeting was held with representatives of the bilateral commissions on prisoners of war, hostages, and missing persons.

" All of this means that there are no prerequisites for escalation in the region and, moreover, all the prerequisites for peace have been put in place. It is necessary to abandon staged actions and a policy of staging escalations, and to establish institutional peace. Armenia not only is ready for this, but will not divert from this path," writes Nikol Pashinyan in conclusion.
