Shahnaz Beylargyzy's husband: ‘I am extremely worried about her health’
On 8 February, Ismail Eyubov, husband of journalist Shahnaz Beylargyzy, visited her in the detention centre. According to him, Shahnaz Beylargyzy's health condition is not good.
‘I am extremely worried about her health. Her sugar level and blood pressure have risen. She is receiving medical care in the Isolator, but her condition is not good, I am doing my best to support her,’ he said.
On 7 February, the lawyer met with journalist Shahnaz Beylargyzy in the detention centre. According to his information, the journalist has been taken under medical observation because of serious health problems.
It is worth recalling that on 6 February the Khatai district court arrested journalist Beylargyzy (Huseynova) for 3 months and 15 days of pre-trial detention in the case of 'Toplum TV'. She is also accused of foreign currency smuggling and other offences.
