Azerbaijan Weather Forecast for February 10

Azerbaijan's National Hydrometeorology Service has released the weather forecast for February 10, predicting mainly dry conditions across the country, with snowfall expected in some mountainous areas.

In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather will be partly cloudy with occasional overcast skies. While precipitation is not expected during the day, light rain and sleet may occur in suburban areas at night. A northwesterly wind is forecast. Temperatures will range between -1°C and +1°C at night, rising to 2-5°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be 771 mm Hg, with humidity levels between 65-75%.

Across Azerbaijan’s regions, dry weather is expected, though light snowfall is likely in some mountainous areas. Fog will appear in certain locations, with moderate westerly winds prevailing. Temperatures will vary widely, from 0 to -5°C at night and 3-7°C during the day, while higher-altitude regions may experience temperatures as low as -19°C at night.

In Nakhchivan, conditions will remain dry, with occasional fog and westerly winds. Nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to -11°C, with daytime highs ranging from -2°C to +3°C. Road icing is likely at night and in the early morning.

For the Karabakh region, including Khankendi, Shusha, Xocalı, Xocavənd, and Aghdam, mostly dry conditions are anticipated with occasional fog. Western winds will prevail, with temperatures ranging from -10°C at night to -5°C during the day. Ice formation on roads remains a concern.

In Eastern Zangezur, including Jabrayil, Kalbajar, Gubadli, Lachin, and Zangilan, the forecast indicates dry weather with fog in some areas. Nighttime temperatures could reach -14°C in higher elevations, with daytime temperatures ranging from -3°C to +2°C.

Western and Central regions, such as Ganja, Goranboy, Tovuz, and Naftalan, are expected to remain mostly dry, though light snowfall is possible in mountainous areas overnight. Foggy conditions and moderate westerly winds will persist. Temperatures will range from -6°C at night to 5°C in the daytime.

In northern regions, including Quba, Qusar, and Sheki, dry weather is predicted, but snowfall is possible in some areas overnight. Temperatures will drop to -7°C in lower elevations and as low as -19°C in high-altitude areas, with daytime highs between -6°C and +4°C.

In southern districts, such as Masalli, Lankaran, and Astara, dry weather is expected, with fog and light northeasterly winds. Nighttime temperatures will range from -3°C to +2°C, while daytime highs will reach 5°C.

Authorities have warned of icy road conditions in mountainous regions, urging drivers to exercise caution.
