Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund accepts approximately two thousand new applications
The Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund has accepted about 2,000 new applications after the activation of limits allocated to member- banks to continue lending in 2025.This is reported by the Fund.
The report says that the applications for conventional mortgages were accepted on 6 February and applications for preferential mortgages on 7 February.
The process occurred in real time, on the Electronic Mortgage and Credit Guarantee system integrated into the e-government portal (www.e-gov.az).
There were 1,337 applications registered for regular mortgages and 586 applications for preferential mortgages.
About 53, 000 mortgage loans have been issued by the state in Azerbaijan so far. Total amount of loans was more than AZN 3.3 billion, or about USD 2 billion.

President Ilham Aliyev approved the budget of the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund for 2025 on 10 February.
