Baku / 09.25.19 / Turan: The Tenth Festival of European Films will be held in Baku from October 2 to 16. Such festivals have become traditional and introduce Azerbaijanis to European culture, said the head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, Kestutis Jankauskas, at a press conference on Wednesday.
According to him, over 10 years almost 150 European films were presented to the Azerbaijani audience. Within the framework of this anniversary festival, 15 films will be shown, of which 14 are made in the EU countries, and one film by an Azerbaijani director.
The festival, as conceived by the organizers, provides an opportunity to acquaint moviegoers in Azerbaijan with the diversity of European culture. - 06D-
