Young Bakuvian Girl Wins The Voice Contest in Turkey
The performance by 12-year old Sabina Abbasbeyli in the children's competition O Ses (The Voice) Turkiye - 14 was a pleasant surprise for her compatriots in Azerbaijan.
The young singer performed a complex composition of Christina Aguilera's Hurt, which aroused enthusiasm of the jury and in particular the well-known Turkish singer Hadise.
The performance by the Bakuvian so pleased Hadise that she came on stage and sang a couple of verses, along with Sabina.
After receiving the full support of the jury, Sabina chose Hadise as her mentor.
Sabina Abbasbeyli is a pupil of Grade 7 in The International School of Azerbaijan (TISA) in Baku.
According to her parents, Sabina from her childhood loves to sing and dreams of the stage. She not only sings, but also plays the piano. She recorded her first CD, in which she performs songs of famous foreign singers and basically Christina Aguilera, whom she considers her idol. There is no doubt that this talented girl has a great future, but we can already think about her participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. -02B-
