
Agriculture Ministries of Azerbaijan and Turkey to Hold Baku Business Forum
The Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock of Turkey will hold Baku Business Forum on February 23. The purpose of the forum is to rise to a qualitatively new level of development of the bilateral relations in the agricultural sector, Turan was told in the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan.
To participate in the forum a large delegation comes to Baku, consisting of representatives of about 150 Turkish companies.
In 2016, imports from Turkey amounted to $ 1 billion 181.5 million, an increase of 0.9%. According to Turan’s calculations based on data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan exported agricultural products worth $ 118 million to Turkey last year. Azerbaijan, in turn, supplied agricultural goods in the amount of $ 2 million to Turkey. ----08D
