Amount of data received by FMS increased last month by 3.3%
BAKU/19.12.13/TURAN : The Financial Monitoring Service ( FMS ) under the Central Bank of Azerbaijan in November 2013 received 33,700 items of information on suspicious current operations, which is 3.3 % more than in the previous month.
According to the service , during the first eleven months of this year they received 311,496 data. Compared to January-November 2012 the figure rose by 78,195 units or 33.5 percent.
Financial Monitoring Service has operated since 2009 and is the body responsible for state policy in the field of combating money laundering and terrorist financing. - 15B -
