On November 1 and 3 this year, the Ministry of Finance will hold the next test examinations for candidates for executive positions, including intermediaries (brokers) in the insurance industry, as well as individuals who wish to obtain an insurance agent license.
As stated in the Ministry of Finance, the persons who participated in previous exams, but have been unable to pass them, can also confirm their participation in the new testing by contacting the email address: tamerlan.aliyev@maliyye.gov.az. Successfully passing the certification will be those who answer correctly 70 or more out of 100 questions asked. The cost of participation in the certification for individuals is 200 manats, and for legal persons it is 1,000 manat.
Certification of insurers has been held since 2009 in accordance with the requirement of the insurance legislation. --17D-

Azerbaijan’s imports of animal and vegetable fats and oils climbed 23.9% by weight and 16.2% by value from January to September 2024, official data revealed. Despite the uptick in volume, the import cost of these products saw a decrease compared to the same period last year, with the cost per ton of vegetable oil falling by 6.1% to $1,199.6 in 2024, down from $1,278.6 in 2023.
