Another official appraiser of the Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund (AMF) has become known.
According to the information on the website of AMF, it is FM Consulting. Thus, the number of authorized evaluation organizations of AMF is 16. This means that citizens can feel free to contact the management of the company in the hope of obtaining mortgage loans from the Fund.
In March 2006 AMF began to issue mortgage loans. Social mortgage was issued for six months - from January to July 2007. The Fund has 28 agent banks, anyway active in commercial mortgages.
Mortgage loans on commercial terms are given in manat and only to Azerbaijani citizens. Loans are granted for a term of 3 to 25 years, the maximum loan must not exceed 50 thousand manat, a loan is granted at a rate of no more than 8% per annum.
Social mortgage is funded from the state budget. Its maximum size is 50 thousand manat at a rate of not more than 4% per annum. --17D-
